School Inclusion Improvement Team
The LEO Academy Trust operates a School Inclusion Improvement Team that includes staff from each school and our central team that supports the provision for all children with additional needs across the Trust.
Work from this team includes:
- Assessment of pupils’ learning needs,
- Support for behaviour for learning,
- Nurture,
- Working with schools to develop policies and procedures that support positive mental health,
- Overseeing teaching and learning for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities,
- Support for families,
- Safeguarding,
- Support for pupils and families with English as an additional language,
- Attendance.
